A Legacy of Scouting

In many ways, the success of Vince's Arrows is due to the values and opportunities provided by the BSA program. 
 
When my older brother received his arrow of light award, I was fascinated by the plaque that was given to him. A few years later, it was my turn. However, my dad (and cub master) was unable to locate the maker of my brother’s plaque. So we went to our workshop to make our own. Everyone loved what we had made, so I decided as an eager sixth grader to go into business in 2003. I have been making arrows and plaques for Arrow of Light ceremonies ever since.

The rest is history. Thanks to all my customers over the years, as a scout, I was able to buy camping and hiking equipment that was the envy of the troop, trek through Philmont twice, attend many other scout outings, and eventually attain the rank of Eagle Scout. 

Though my scouting days are over, I am pleased to still be able to make Arrow of Light awards for the next generation of Scouts. It is my hope that the quality of my awards might help inspire Webelos to go on and attain the rank of Eagle.

Where is Vince Now?

​I currently live and make my arrows in Hudson, OH.   Besides this little online-venture, I am also a  full-time firefighter/paramedic. 

Arrow of Light: It seems like forever ago, but as you can see I was one cool kid when I started making arrows with my dad.

Eagle Scout: I received my Eagle Scout award In September 2009. 

Philmont: While I was in Scouts, the money from Vince's Arrows allowed me to go to Philmont Scout Ranch.. Twice!
